Our Story
Nordet Supply was founded in 1987 by a small team with a straightforward idea: businesses on both sides of the Ottawa River deserved a reliable, locally rooted supplier they could count on week after week. Starting with a modest inventory of janitorial essentials, we built our reputation one reorder at a time — showing up on schedule, knowing our customers by name, and never letting a facility run short.
Over the decades, we've grown alongside the National Capital Region's restaurants, cafés, schools, property managers and small manufacturers. As our customers' needs evolved, so did our offering — expanding into packaging and foodservice supplies while keeping the personal, responsive service that set us apart from national chains. Today, Nordet Supply carries thousands of products trusted by hundreds of businesses across Ottawa and Gatineau.
We operate our own fleet of delivery trucks, running routes twice a week across the region so your supplies arrive on a schedule you can plan around. Our warehouse, right here in the NCR, means shorter lead times and a team that understands local needs — not a call centre in another province.
